The season start was very promising for the XeNTiS pilot Thomas Frühwirth. With two victories in two races he underlined impressively his perfect shape. He won the hand bike marathon in Linz and drove the UCI Cl race - the last class before the World Cup - in Verolanuova (ITA) for the overall victory. In the individual time trial he made an incredible average of 42.6 km / h in eleven kilometers.
The focus is however already on the Paralympics 2016 in Rio. Thomas Frühwirth: "A medal must be the goal, without a chance of a podium I'll not go to Rio." It would be for the first time, because so far he did not participate on the Games. "I have been certainly saying it for ten years, the Paralympics do not interest me, because I am concerned about performance. But now the level is really on a very respectable level.
By material Thomas Frühwirth trusts the carbon wheels from XeNTiS. His hand bike rolls on two Mark 1 TT Monocoque wheels on the rear axle and the Squad 7.5 spoke wheel in the front ensures the steering precision.
