Clincher Carbon is – as the name says – the clincher model with patented carbon braking surface. There is no need to go without the advantages of an inner tube and cover, and still there is a savings in weight of 250 g compared to the aluminium model. The excellent aerodynamics and the optimised weight provide a racing feeling even in everyday use. By the way, Xentis wheels are designed for system weights (rider and complete wheel) of up to 125 kg.

Braking is done on carbon. The carbon braking surface of MARK1 was developed for standard brake pads, special carbon brake pads are neither recommended nor are they required. The patented braking surface guarantees smooth and safe braking even in wet weather conditions
